Fresh Friday – Raw Power Bars

These are amazing I sometimes use them biking.

right now rawI love when friends share with me recipes that they think I would like. Well, this one friend in particular could not have been more right. I love these raw bars. The recipe she made was from the Forks Over Knives Cook Book, as usual, I tweaked the recipe a tad to satisfy my raw appetite.

I love this friend, (a.k.a. Coach Beast) she literally went from eating steak one night, to vegan the next morning. I love all my friends, but vegan friends are extra AMAZING! I wanted to share this recipe with you for Fresh Friday, I will be eating these all weekend, and enjoying every bite!

  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews

  • 1 vanilla bean (cut lengthwise and scoop seeds out)
