I open the door and step into the past with a gentle chime ushering me in the chatter of 3 barber telling jokes and the patrons laughing. I want to get back to something I use to be better at before having kids bringing people together to do something fun. Critical Mass becomes a day in LA for me to invite others to join me in becoming one of a mass of people filled with lights and music. Whether you are having a typical child or a special needs child it’s natural to pull away for a time. It makes sense as you are trying to balance everything that has changed.
